hi, i i have a dlink di-524 wireless router which i was using with standard 768 kb DSL. It worked fine. I just upgraded my dsl to 3mb but the router is only letting thru 1.5 MB. When i disconnected the router and plugged the pc directly into the modem, i was getting my full speed, Whats wrong with my router config that its only putting out 1.5 and not a higher speed like i get with a wired connection? Thanx

  2. You will probably have to upgrade one of your wireless devices to G with speed booster.  There are several different names for G with speed booster.  Wireless N is even better.  I suggest if you are just connecting stationary devices, go with powerline instead.  Check this video out: http://www.cnet.com/4520-7390_1-6274537-...

Then check out the What tab.  It has product recommendations.

If you are going to connect an ipod to your home network, then you would need wireless.  Devices like the xbox, playstation, desktop computers, and most laptop computers can actually use powerline instead of wireless.

  3. Wireless Router is always going that way-1/2 speed only.
