I bought a wireless router (Wireless-G Router WGR614) and it requires for the computer to have an ethernet connection port. My computer is f'd and doesnt have one. I was wondering if there is any way i can get the router to work. And also are there wireless routers out there that dont require an ethernet connection?

  1. If your Pc has Wireless Adapter already(usb or pci) then just plug your phoneline to router n you can connect wireless to router.

1st You enable wifi adapter and try login in to your router by

    type in your browser " http://192.168.1.1 "

then router will ask for user and password by default user is

    "admin" password is "password"

it will bring you to setup page, so now you can set internet username and password and connect

    : D hope it work!!

  2. You're talking about the RJ-32 connector. Just buy a NIC card, $20 bucks...or wireless for $80 PCI

  3. check the wi-fi state and be sure from the networks if its avilable or not,,, keep in the router range may  20-40 feet,, plug in the ethernet cable,, i didn`t heared about router with no need for aen eathernet .
