Hello, I have an older Gateway Solo that I installed an early version of xp on. I bought a Netgear WG511t wireless adapter (refurbished with no call in tech support) and when I finished setup the display showed that I had an excellent connection and the lights on the adapter start out flashing togather which shows it is connected, then in about 5 seconds without touching or doing anything, the connection drops out (no signal strength, and the lights on the adaper are flashing alternately and a dialog box pops up saying wireless connection unavailable).
