I have an sony xm-4060gtx 4 chanel running 4, 6.5 speakers and

on the other side I have a 10" sub bridged. I want to hook up a mono amp so I can run 2 subs off of it and run 2 more 6.5's

off of the 4 channel. my main question is my sony amp has 4 inputs, can I use 2 of them as a pass through to hook up the 2nd amp. The Manual doesn't address this.

  1. if it is not a pass throung then it will not work as one. just use a pair of Y splitters to go to the mono amp. you will also need a distribution block to split the power to the both of them (i recommend a fused distro block) the remote and ground wires can be spliced together.

  2. Yes...But you wont have sub volume control..
