I was given a Die Hard trolling motor. The cover was taped on and when I opened it I found all the wires were unconnected. I connected it to a battery and the motor runs. There is a 3 way switch on the cover (Rev-Off- Forward). With the power connected, the motor does not run in Off. It does run in Forward and Reverse in the appropriate directions. There is a variable speed switch with a tiller handle with Off-High-Med-Low positions. The motor runs in what appears to be High even with the switch in the Off position. I have tried every wire combination but I can't get it to operate like it is supposed to. Any one have a copy of the wiring schematic for this motor? Again, it is a Die Hard 28 lbs thrust trolling motor. There is no label with a model or serial number. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Dave Haralson
