Wiring diagram for factory stereo head unit?

I really need some help, I am trying to find a site that I can look up wiring diagrams for car stereo harnesses that have been cut off. I have tried some online manuals, but turned up empty handed, please help. My problem right now is a 1996 geo tracker 4wd. Somebody cut the stereo harness behind the clip, and now i have to figure out the color codes for it.

It's tough in a geo. Sometimes they use a GM harness. Sometimes they use the harness from the "sister" vehicle(i.e. prism = corolla).

In your case. It could be a GM harness or a Suzuki harness.

Find power lines with test light ground should be black and power should be yellow and red but a lot of vehicles seem to change their color's that's why I say use a test light to find the powers, all else fails you can ground out the deck with your own ground wire.  After you figure the power lines out (there might be multiple like 4 power instead of 2, make sure the the key is in the acc position so ALL the power lines are active) you can hook up the speakers one by one so you know what corners they are in,  if the positive and negative are backwards on the speakers you will get less bass out of it really noticeable when both sides are hooked up and are out of phase (one is backwards)... hope I helped a little.
