Wiring for bt phone line?

wiring has come out of my bt box where line comes in hence phone not working . How do I rewire without having to pay over £100 to BT thanks

  1. did they ask for £100 to fix it? try phoning other telecoms companies like virgin media.

Its a simple 2 wire connection.It depends on the type of box you have but the external line connects to 2 terminals,  the internal line may have 4 or 6 wires if you only have one phone you only need 2 of them connected as well. The internal wire connects to number 2 and number 5, if you have extensions a third wire must be connected to allow the extension phones to ring, good luck

  4. Sometimes it could be 'A'-white,'B'-blue for a master socket,mine is.No orange or green connected.If a slave socket,'2'-white/blue,'5'-blue/white.

  5. In the master socket connect orange to term A and white to term B.

    For extensions Blue/white band to 2, White/blue band to 5, Green/white band to 3
