Wiring money to states from s. korea?

I want to wire some money to an account in the states but the bank that i have an account with in south korea can not do international money transfer. Can I do it through a different bank by bring my account information to them? and, how much would the fee be (set amount or varies)?

  1. My bank does it for about $25. My banks is

    KB (Kookmin Bank). Most banks will do it.

    Your bank at home will probably charge you

    $10-$15 as well.

    Another option is to buy and mail a money order

    to your bank or to a friend or family member. Then

    have them deposit into your account at home.


  2. You could try a debit /credit card international money wire service.  See http://danogo.com/money-wire for info.

  3. If you can not transfer that is wire money from an account to another account you can use Western Union.

    I do it from the states to Korea all of the time.
