At the end of the month I am going to Wisconsin Dells. We are staying at the Wilderness Resort. Does anyone have any suggestions for restraunts that are reasonably priced and good for 2 hungry adults 2 picky teenage girls that eat like birds and a 5 year old?

  1. You can try Famous Dave's for good bbq, but I'm not sure if that goes with the picky teenagers.  Here is their website:  http://www.famousdaves.com/

  2. You definetly have to try pizza pub! Hands down best pizza in town and everything else is top notch! It has been in dells for 30 years and its just across the road from Noah's Ark. It has a huge menu of italian and american cuisine. Great kids menu at $4 (chicken strips, sphagetti, burgers etc) and it has a 50+ item soup and salad bar! Also I would recommend Brat House Grille which opened last year. Its closer to Wilderness on the same road. It has great food, great portions at an amazing price. Also its decor is that of al old church!

  3. Monks is famous for its burgers

we go there every trip and highly recomend it.

  4. I will agree with the other answerers in recommending Monks Bar & Grill and Famous Daves. There is also a brewery restaruant called Moosejaw that has good food and pizza, and an arcade downstairs for kids.

  5. Yes, Famous Dave's has great bbq.

Monk's Bar & Grill is also a good place for a reasonable meal.  It's a bar, but it's also good for casual family dining.

I really like Ginza of Tokyo, but as sushi places go, it's a bit expensive to fill yourself up.  Maybe if the kids go to Burger King one night...

  6. First off, STAY FAR AWAY from the Wild West Buffet!!  Overpriced horrible food!!!!

Go to Ponderosa, Pizza Ranch Buffet.  There is also a Super Wal-Mart so you can pick up groceries there, too.
