I have thought long and hard about where in Milwaukee to get married, I had originally wanted to get married at Lakefront brewery but that is where everyone is getting married now days.

There is no where that seems right to us or can fit up to 300 people.

anyone have a fresh idea?

  1. are you or your family members at the Art Museum?  that would be beautiful, but it's so expensive.

have you looked at The Astor Hotel downtown?  It's very classy and vintage. I'm not sure if they can accomodate 300 guests, but it is worth looking into, i think.

then of course there is the domes, public museum, zoo, etc.  there's also any number of golf courses/country clubs and hotels.

this is a link to a list of reception venues - http://www.premierbridewisconsin.com/lis...

i hope you find somewhere fabulous!  it shouldn't be too hard to do in mke!

    good luck!

  2. i think you guys should get married in milwaukee stadium it can fit more the 300 people

  3. there are hundreds of places in the milwaukee area!  if you're big brewer fans (and there's no home game that day) i think you can rent an area inside miller park!  what kind of place are you looking for?  i was at a wedding a few years ago at the domes...nice setting, but it was kind of awkward.  are you looking for classic? fun? different?  what kind of wedding are you looking for.  give a bit more information, and i'd be glad to give some insight!  you can check out this list from premier bride, but i think they're more traditional...and i get the sense that's not quite what you're looking for.
