Tuesday the 22nd I got my wisdom teeth removed, I have no numbness and my face isn't swollen, But I can't seem to open my mouth (when i open it my mouth kind of feels like it wants to bleed), I haven't ate much and lost about 15 pounds in 5 days... is this normal? should i go back to the surgeon? what can i do to make this better?

  1. you may want to go to the dentist.. just to check for infection.. after 5 days you should be doing a little better.. try only drinking things, get some of those ensure drinks or even carnation breakfast things.. they will have some vitamins that you need (if you cannot eat even soft foods) If your teeth were removed (surgically, meaning they were under the gum) its going to be more painful and take longer to heal.. I suggest to take some extra strength tylenol and go back to dentist, just to make sure its not infected. Good Luck and I hope you feel better!
