I just got my wisdom teeth pulled yesteday morning. Afterwards, the only thing i consumed was half of a milkshake from Wendys the whole day. Now it is morning and I still don't have much of an appetite. Is it normal not to feel very hungry and will i lose weight from this, even though I am not being active?? I can't afford to get thinner than I already am. thanks guys in advance.

  1. I didnt have much of an appetite after my wisdom tooth was pulled, it was only for a couple of days tho, I basically just had liquids and then after about 3 days I was fine.

  2. My daughter was under 100 lbs and 5 ft 4 inches so I know what you mean! She couldn't afford to lose any wt either and I think she lost 5-10 lbs.

I made her some shakes that were more nourishing. I put frozen bananas, and other fruits and used milk or juice with that. You can even use water. Strawberries and blueberries work well. You can add other things like wheat germ or almonds or walnuts. These add protein as well.

If you have a juicer you can make a vegetable juice. Use lots of sweet carrots so it is tastier.

You can buy a type of chocolate milk that is supposed to be more nutritious near the power bar section of the store.

  3. Get someone to go to the store for you and get some snack size jello, pudding and yogurt. Oatmeal and cream of chicken or clam soup are also good after a day or so. But don't make it hot, it could make you bleed again. If you are on pain medicine, that could be curbing your appetite. Give it a couple of days and you will feel hungry again.

  4. Try eating oatmeal or cream of wheat

  5. Talk to your dentist.
