Wisdom Teeth removal?

I'm having my wisdom teeth taken out in two weeks. The surgeon told me they were impacted and that I need to be put under. I'm terrified of having surgery. How do I get over this?

  1. Surgery and general anesthesia can be scary, but there's really nothing to worry about.

Ask your doctor lots of questions about the procedure, any possible complications, and anything else you can think of to get as much information as you can and to get familiar with the process.

Bring things that will make you comfortable: a stuffed animal, MP3 player, a small pillow, anything to help you relax.

Being "put under" feels just like falling asleep. When you wake up you'll be a bit groggy, but it will seem like the time just flew by in seconds. It's amazing how quick it seems.
