Wisdom Tooth/Orthodonist

I just got all 4 of my wisdom tooth out yesterday and I have a orthodonist appointment on Aug.10. Before I got my wisdom tooth out I was assign to wear rubber bands which I did until yesterday because of my surgery........My question is"Will my teeth move thoughs 5 days because I haven't wore my rubber bands?".........like I said I have been wearing them[rubber bands] even before the surgery and my teeth is where the orthodonist wants them...I just afraid that they will move in the next 4 days...I am afraid to wear the rubber bands because I might put to much pressure on the wisdom teeth. Do you think my teeth will move?

You will probably feel a little pressure or pain when you start wearing them again, as teeth adjust. But I wouldnt think they would move significantly. Just make sure to wear them properly and as much as needed as soon as you can to make up for it, but other than added pressure there shouldn't be too much of a problem. I wouldn't worry about it, heal from your wisdom teeth first :)

they might. You should phone your orthodontist and ask, they may re-schedule your appointment!
