I ask this because yesterday I got mine out. I can handle the swollen cheeks and a little bit of dull pain but I really would like to be able to eat normal foods again and have a cigarette.

Any help would be great,thanks!

  1. it was afull month before i cpould eat normal. just a couple days for smoking

  2. When I had four of my wisdom teeth extracted 3 weeks ago, I never had any pain or swelling even. But for most people, the worst days are the 3rd to 5th. That's when pain and swelling will peak. But after that, it will slowly go away. Usually takes about a week. It took me about a week and a half to resume back to solid foods. But everybody's recovery time will be different. As for the actual healing of the holes themselves, it will takes several months for them to close up.

Hope you have a good recovery

  3. hey! well when i got mine out i was actually able to eat the second day, and i was SUPER swollen; it took me a while and it was tideous but hey; gotta eat! so i should say by the third day you should definately be able to begin eating solids. =] um you will also notice in a couple of days that you'll have a bruise on either side; (if you were put under) because of the tongs they use to keep your mouth open, and that lasts about a week and a half to go away. hope it helps =]
