  1. When I had my wisdom teeth removed they did not ask me to take out my nose ring.

Only reason I have ever been asked to take it out is for x-rays, although even with the jewellery in the x-rays turned out fine.

  2. local is when they just numb it and general is when you get knocked out

  3. NO

  4. depending on whether you are having local or general anesthetic you might have to.  for local you can leave it in but with a general they might get you to take it out or put a non metal stud in as it can interfere with the oximeter or possibly other equipment

  5. No, you don't have to take your stud out becoz tooth  removal has no connection with nose stud.

in general, full body is anesthetise while in local only particular area is numbed
