  1. ok if there is a smoothie king in your area go there!!! thei smoothies saved me when i got my wisdom teeth out. try the peanut power plus with grape- it tastes exactly like peanut butter  and jelly! they have some great meal replacement smoothies as well as fruity ones! i would recommend getting a large which is 40 oz so you get eat some and then have food for the next few days!

  2. Very normal. It would be unusual if you could eat normal food. Try chicken or beef broth.

  3. Well, there is trauma any time a tooth is extracted.  There is bruising under your gum and sometimes down to bone depending on how deep the roots of the wisdom teeth went (some wisdome teeth are bony impacted which means they had roots into the jaw bone).  You will be a bit sore for a few days but you will live.  Drink some breakfast drinks or Slim Fast or something to fill you up.

p.s.  If your dentist did not mention this, DONT DRINK WITH A STRAW.  Any sucking with on a straw or smoking cigarettes could dislodge the blood clot in the empty space where those big old teeth once were (called a socket).  The clot is necessary for proper healing and if it does come out you could get what is called a "dry socket."  I had  a dry socket when I got my wisdom teeth out as a teen from smoking.  The socket hurt like heck and got infected.  I had to make repeated trips to the dentist to have antibiotic-soaked gauze shoved down in there and removed a few days later.  NOT FUN AT ALL--so no sucking your breakfast drinks with a straw.  *wink

  4. Aw, shaddup; c'mere and I'll buy you a milkshake.  You sure don't need to chew that!  Heck, I'll even super-size it for ya!

  5. when i got mine out, i lived off of applesauce for like a week :)

  6. I had the same thing, the first day is pretty much the worst. I tried to just eat yogurt. That was all I could manage. The second day I had Kraft Dinner, any sort of pasta with alot of smooth sauce goes down really easy. Make sure you don't drink through a straw you can pull your stitches right out. I suggest taking whatever pain medication they gave you and just try and sleep for the day.

  7. jello, yougert (without fruit), ice cream (without any chunks in it), pudding .... i survived on those (dont drink soda pop!!!)
