Question:

Wisdom teeth extraction questions...

I had my two bottom wisdom teeth extracted yesterday (they were impacted so they cut them out). Oddly, I haven't really had much pain since then. But I have a white patch over the gum on the left side of my mouth where they removed a tooth. Is that normal? And it looks like I have stitches slightly up the side of my cheeks. Is that normal? This is what the doctor told me that my roots weren't very deep so it was easy to remove them. I can't see any gaping holes or anything but I have the stitches that dissolve. Is all of this normal?

  1. I had mine cut out and I dont remember a white patch  but I wouldnt worry too bad just clean the wounds really good like your instucted to. My stiches went into my cheeks too. I, however, did not have dissolving stitches so I cant help you there. Good luck with the swelling it goes away pretty fast. I was the worst the third day but after that it was fine!
