Question:

Wisdom teeth extraction sites questions

How can you tell if there's food or something stuck in the holes where your wisdom teeth were extracted? Because the holes are small and pretty dark in the back of my mouth and I can't really see if there's stuff in them. I've been using the syringe to spray the holes, but I can't really see if I'm even doing anything.

And on the right side of my mouth, there's something that looks like a short, white thread that's right between my gums and my cheek. It doesn't really look like a stitch, but I don't want to pull on it to try and see if it comes out in case it is a stitch. Should I just leave it there?

  1. If you are using your syringe then you shouldn't have any food stuck back there and the white short thread in your gum is most likely a stitch. I would leave it there. All mine dissolved.
