I get an ENORMOUS amount of pain after cleaning my wisdom teeth holes. I've also been getting really bad pains the past few days randomly. It's been OVER a week since I got them out and it's been hurting worse the past few days then first week...I was in at the the oral surgeons yesterday telling them that thinking I may have a dry socket. They said I didnt but didnt offer any other explanations.

Is this normal?

Im really confused. and pained.

  2. I was in pain for weeks after I had my wisdom teeth out but my friend was eating subway the day after he had his out.  Everyone heals at a different rate.  I have had a few surgeries in the past but my wisdom teeth were by far the worst recovery for me (who would have thought four teeth could cause so much pain).  I had to stay at my mother in laws for the first week while my husband was at work so she could care for me I was so sick.  She had to make me shaved ice, milkshakes etc because they had to put the tube down my throat to help me breathe.  But it took weeks to feel 100% again.  Just try not to over brush at the back and wash your mouth out with Savicol (spelling?) and see your dentist that refereed you if you still aren't happy.  Best of luck.
