Don't worry you can't feel anything but pressure they numb the hack out of you.

  2. For me, I had four wisdom teeth. Similar to you, my roots were not fully developed or grown out so they were nice and short. This is also good because the shorter the roots, the farther away they are from the nerve that runs along the bottom of your jaw line. This will lessen complications with the nerve. It will be wise to take them out now since the roots aren't deep yet, and yes it will not be as painful because the teeth are still small.

The procedure was honestly one of the easiest things I have ever done. I was completely freaked out about it before, but now that it's done (3 weeks ago), I wouldn't mind going back and doing it again...not that I have to...but just saying how not scary it is =)

Just use general anesthesia (be put to sleep) and you will be fine.

If it's sideways, it shouldn't complicate things unless it's like leaning on your back molar or leaning in or out in your gums. They may just have to cut it into more pieces before they take it out though. Look at the pictures and explanations on this website. 3. Let me put it this way, not to scare you or anything, but you will KNOW when they are on the move and need to come out. I went in on a Sunday to an ER dentist because I could not stand it any longer. Don't wait too long. Take care of having them removed before you are in real pain. Good luck.

  4. I got all 4 pulled out at once and was scared to death! When I got there they put me to sleep and when I woke up it was all over. I took vicodin right away so there was no pain. The biggest problem was spitting out the blood. You don't want to swallow it because you will get sick to your stomach. Over the next couple of days there will be a little pain. Just use ice on your cheeks and use drugs as instructed. By day four I was able to go out and eat a pizza.

  5. It's really not that bad. Just a little bit of dull pain for a few days after. It's better to get them out before the roots come in.

  6. Me too!  I recently had 2 bottom wisdom teeth removed.

    But mine wasn't sideways.

I don't think it's too much of a big deal.  I had an anesthetic IV injection so I was sort of asleep when I got my wisdom teeth removed.

After wards, I was woken up by the doctor and found this gauze in my mouth.  And I was drugged so I guess it feels sort of like being drunk but not nauseous.

As for the pain, it really wasn't all that bad for me.  I'm 20.  It's just that for the first day, you spend a lot of time spitting out blood.  yeah...  it's gross.

But it's true when they say that you can't eat any hard/crunchy foods for the first couple of days because that does kinda hurt.
