Wisdom teeth question?

My lower left wisdom tooth feels sore; well around the area. I am worried that my wisdom tooth could be impacting my teeth. It feels sore and a little uncomfortable there. Should I be worried? Should I call to make an appointment to see a dentist?

  1. Pain is the body telling you there is something wrong... Make the appointment... why suffer?

  2. why not? unless mon ey is an issue go to the dentist.  i have a fear of the dentist, but i've had 3 wisdom teeth pulled and every one of them were almost painless.  i wont lie and say it was painless, but the pain was low, much much lower then i expected.  get it pulled, and dont worry about it,  they were done before i even realized they started

  3. if you are in pain i would make an appt.,  If you dont it could lead to further problems.  Nip it in the Bud.

  4. has your wisdom tooth come out already? wisdom teeth are weird in the fact they come out and in causing pain. i wouldn't worry too much about it, because when mine were coming in it would be very painful one day and not at all the next.

now did your dentist say anything about your wisdom teeth last time s/he took an x-ray. if not you should be fine. if you are due for a dentist appointment in less than 6 months i'd wait until then and ask your dentist. if not i'd make an appointment.

do any of your other teeth hurt? for me when my wisdom teeth were coming in they were pushing on my other teeth causing the 2 first molars on the bottom to hurt. i was sure i had cavities but then the doctor explained what was happening. so if that happens then you probably have a problem.

another thing is most people get their wisdom teeth out even if there are no problems especially if you are still under 20. because it is very easy to get cavities and infections back there because it's so hard to clean.

  5. Definitely. Most people need to get theirs out because they come in in really weird directions and mess up your other teeth. I had to get all 4 pulled..they were all coming in in different directions lol

  6. Yeah it is better to get it checked. Gargle a mixture of salt and warm water or gargle a shot of whiskey or rum for curbing pain due to  teething "wisdom teeth". More remedies and information regarding your wisdom teeth at http://useinfo-dentalcare.blogspot.com/

  7. Yeah because my dentist told me that if my teeth bothered me I need to have them pulled. They're coming in now (i'm 17) so they don't hurt right now.
