Question:

Wisdom teeth recovery?

I had my surgery Friday morning. With Vicodin my pain subsided but I (without thinking) drank through a straw Saturday. I didn't notice anything, but this morning it hurt worse. Now it seems to be a steady "throb" but the bleeding has subsided a great deal and it is more bearable. Any ideas on how long till the pain is pretty much gone? It seems the lower sides hurt more so than the upper. I have been eating much more. Is the stop of bleeding a good sign? I hope I can concentrate without too much trouble by tomorrow, doable?

  1. ouch you might have a dry socket

    nott good at all

go back and tell them they might be albe to 'pack it'

    :]

  2. The pain should definitaly go less by tomorrow. As long as you take care of your self and do not drink thrugh a straw again. However, since the bleeding has stopped that is a really good sign. By this time you should have blood clots which is good too. The bottom usually hurts more since there roots are bigger. I had 3 off and did pretty good on top but the bottoms ones were more yucky. OUCH!☺

  3. You need to call your dentist FIRST thing tomorrow morning.  You could be getting a  dry socket.  If this is the case you'll have to go in and they'll fix you up!  No more straws!!!  Good luck.  Oh and another indication of a dry socket is a bad smell.
