I just had two teeth removed and they made 3 incisions. one of which was a mistake and we got after them for it. But it has been a couple days since and my face is still very swollen especially on that one size where the two incisions were made. Even my upper throat is swollen and sore. It is also very hard, it hurts extremely bad to lay on ether side of my face mostly that one side. The stitches were supposed to be the dissolve able kind but some may have came out simply from me trying to eat. Every so often i taste bleeding also and use tissues or gauze pads to soak it up for a little at a time (not huge amounts) and the tissues and pads come out with almost a yellow looking substance to them not red. The doctor also told me not to blow my nose and try not to sneeze because he may have cut into sinus cavity. Could the yellow substance me an infection???

Please help if you have any idea if this is normal for a couple days after, or if you know how to help. Thanks!!

  1. No, that's not normal. You should see your dentist. What if you're alergic to something, how are you going to avoid sneezing?

  2. i just had mine done and my gf had hers done and that is deffinately not normal at all....seek help immediately

  3. NOOOOO that is defintaley not good...you should see your dentist immediately!!!!

  4. Go see a MD. Tell them that the dentist said he "may have cut into your sinus cavity". That sounds like a lawsuit to me. Get help as soon as possible!
