Hi I have had my last lower wisdom tooth removed, the one on the right in the image,

it was done like 4 days ago, but there is a problem, there is a part my skin from the inner cheek covering my last molar, I think its because of the sutures, I am unable to chew, close my mouth fully(clench my jaws) coz there is a lump of skin thats getting crushed under the last molars, I talked about this to the dentist who did the surgery, he says its alright, and that is only due to edema and swelling and it would subside, and that he does not think there's anything wrong with the sutures, but I can feel the skin still in between my last two molars and its causing hella pain, do you think there's a problem???

  1. no theres no problem..i had all four of my wisdome teeth taken out at the same time and the exact same thing happened...try putting an ice cube in the area of the skin then just leave it alone for awhile if u dont see a change in a week or so go back in to the dentist but whatever u do try not to bit or knaw at it

  2. What your doctor said is correct..........why don't you trust the person who operated on you and you paid for his advise....?!

What is unreasonable about his answer?
