*1 Coin

*1 Sterilized needle

* well/lake/sea/river

Prick your finger with needle and allow your blood to drop to the coin. Chant this wile staring to your reflection on water (well,lake,river, sea, etc.):

“Water so clear, water so clean. Please take my wishes and bring it to me. What I will ask is what I should get.

Please make my wishes come true.”

Make a wish then throw or drop the coin into (well,lake,sea,pond, etc.)

This was the spell that I tried yesterday. I got a regular sewing needle and put rubbing alchohol on it and then I got a quarter. I went to the beach and went to the little bridge that was very close to the water.and pricked/poked my finger trying to make blood come out and let it drop by itself onto to the coin. I thought this spell must be easy because I use to cut myself on my legs so i thought it couldn't hurt that bad. But for some reason it hurt a bit more trying to cut your finger. I've read that anytime you are going to preform a ritual (Wicca) that you should be sure to be well rested, tummy fed and healthy before preforming your ritual.  So, maybe this can also apply to Magick?  You do sound a little jittery.

I have read a little on Magick and have never heard or intentionally hurting ones self for the benefit of a spell.  I've also read that spells take time and sometimes do not work or do not have an immediate effect.

Four Winds Wishing Spell

For this spell you will need to ascertain

North then find

South,

East

and West.

The 4 winds were given magical names by the ancient Greeks - Boreas, Eureus, Notus and Zephyrus - it is these forces together with those of the elemental spirits of air, water, fire and earth, that are called upon in the spell to carry your wish to the four points of the universe.

The spell is designed to be performed outside and you will require anyone of the following powdered herbs:

bay, also known as bay laurel (for success and prestige wishes)

rosemary (for promotion and advancement wishes)

cinnamon (for power wishes)

vervain (verbena) (for general wishes)

cardamon (for love wishes)

peppermint (for prosperity wishes).

Having chosen the appropriate herb, hold it in your hands and visualize the acheievement of your goal in fine detail.

Hold the herb to your mouth and breathe upon it trying to force the wish through your breath into the very structure of the herb.

When you are satisfied, turn to the North and say:

“King Boreas of the North Wind,

by the powers of earth,

I call you to carry my wish to the Northern quarter,

and by the powers of the gnomes,

I ask that you bring me success.”

Blow a quarter of the powdered herb from your palm in the direction of North.

Turn to the East and say:

“King Eureus of the East Wind,

by the powers of air,

I call you to carry my wish to the Eastern quarter,

and by the powers of the sylphs,

I ask that you bring me success.”

Blow a quarter of the powdered herb from your palm in the direction of the East.

Turn to the South and say:

“King Notus of the South Wind,

by the powers of fire,

I call you to carry my wish to the Southern quarter,

and by the powers of the salamanders,

I ask that you bring me success.”

Blow a quarter of the powdered herb in the direction of South.

Turn to the West and say:

“King Zephyrus of the West Wind,

by the powers of water,

I call you to carry my wish to the Western quarter,

and by the powers of the undines,

I ask that you bring me success.”

Blow the final quarter of herb from your palm in the direction of West.

The spell is ended. Leave the area without looking back, safe in the knowledge that the powers of the universe have taken over your wish.

No self-injury is *required* for any spell.  Nor does any spell you use that was written by another need to be followed to the letter to work for you - it can be adapted and tailored to suit your needs.

The driving force behind a spell is raising the proper energy, focusing and directing that energy, and releasing it toward your goal.  That's where you messed up - you lost your focus and got your energy all screwed up.  (which is probably why you felt physically ill.)  

I would highly suggest not meddling with magic until you learn more about it, at least the basic mechanics of magic, before you cause harm to yourself and/or someone else.

Wow.  Most people who have experience in witch craft and spell work, will never put a spell in an open forum like this.  The best way to get what you want is to work for it and to place your energy into the work.  You can possibly use spells to help keep you focused, but a spell for a wish is a bad idea unless you are a lawyer and know exactly what to ask for.  

Chants, potions, wands and all that are only there to guide your energy.  None are required for magic.  I suggest you research a way to guide your energy towards your goal one step at a time.

First of all you shouldn't use spells from on-line websites, especially if you have to pay for them.Spells are personal to the caster and ones you write yourself work best.

Essentially all spells are your own wishes/prayers.You want to change the outcome of something, make something happen .So having a wishing spell, meaning a spell that grants your wishes doesn't make sense.

Also neither spell you posted I would advise you to do.The first is basically a chain letter, and while although the saints can be used as symbols for what you require, most people don't use them that way.Second one involved self injury.

As to why this particular spell you tried didn't work, there are several reasons for that.

1)You go t*t form an on-line website, which are never good, especially if you have to pay for it.the best spells you can do are the ones you write yourself.

2)You weren't concentrating.You were to worried on whether or not it was going to work and the such.

Since you were a previous cutter, i would definitely advise you not to do any spells that call for you to draw your own blood.Also you shouldn't toy with magic.witchcraft is a practice that takes years of dedication and study.You dn't just do spells all willy-nilly and you certainly don't do them before nay natural means of obtaining what you need.
