The best is Nod32. very powerful and light weight and not free!

The best free program is Avast and AVG!, very popular and reputable company!

I use AVG 8 free it does anti virus and spy ware and you do not have to pay, make sure you get the free edition not the free trial. good luck

Another good one is Avast but you would need spy ware to go with it

Well the best antivirus program available right now is ESET NOD32. You can download a 30-day free trial but after that you have to pay for it. If you want a free antivirus program then the two best are probably AVG Free Edition Version 8.0 or Avast AntiVir. So you pays your money (or not) and you takes your choice!
