the epiphone sg is a much better bass. the les paul bass sounds too bright.  The EB-0 (thats the SG shaped one) is also a great deal.  its 200 bucks i think, and my sponsored friends get it for 100.  however, I still recomend Fender basses, or schecter basses, those are even ebtter deals for the money, but a bit more expensive
