i want to know witch car has the best m.p.g

I wasn't aware that there were any " WITCH cars" in North America at this time. I used to pride myself on my knowlege of the North American car markets. I guess I have not been keeping current lately.

if you want the best mpg you're going to have to build it yourself.

you can get at least 100 mpg easily with a 4 cylinder diesel engine strapped with a few generators and a half a dozen batteries.

it's quite complicated to explain but that's just a general idea of what it is.

other than that i have no idea. most likely a honda

Honda Insight.

It was the 1st Hybrid in America made from 2001-2006.

It is a 2 seater car bigger than the Smart Fortwo.

It got 60mpg city and 66mpg highway.

That is about 15mpg better than the bigger, heavier Toyota Prius, which came out 2 years later.

2nd is Toyota Prius averaging 48mpg.

3rd is the Turbo Diesel Golf/Jetta/Beetle all getting 40mpg city and 44mpg highway. This was discontinued in 2004. But they will make new ones soon.
