I say go for the nuvi 350 for two reasons.  First, Garmin's support is superb.  It is American-based and they are quite generous with repairs and replacements.  Second, the TomTom One 130 is more of a basic introductory model while the nuvi 350 is a more feature-packed mid-level model.

Both my sister have the garmin nuvi.  they did their research and it came out that garmin is better as long as the model is 300 and up. im also planning on getting a garmin.
