If 666 is so evil, surely this year would have made them almost explode with the sheer witchiness of it all?

Was Witch hunting still going strong at this time?

Did they " cleanse " themselves, because this was supposedly the year of the Devil?

Jesus christ, fast cars is an idiot, it has nothing to do with the question either.

I don't think they did anything special in that year,since if the government suspected of you, only suspected, they would burn you in the steak. They are supossed to cleanse themselves in 6-6-2006.

But I dont think it was really witches who got burned, I bet there were tons of innocent women, and the church just had an excuse to kill (which they always do) The Da vinci Code is right in part, not with mary magdaline and stuff, but all the dirty stuff the catholic church did.
