  1. Personally I prefer Remy Martin or Courvoisier.

    VSOP = very spuperior old pale.

    XO = extra old

    VS = very special

    The youngest cognac is the very special (VS), shortest time in barrels. VSOP is a minumum 4 years in barrels, and XO is anything over 6 years in barrels.

    The older it is, the smoother it is and the better its tastes.


  2. VS is the simplest, XO is the best (was aged for longer time). VSOP is average. What to buy is up to you and your wallet.
