  1. pads, tampons are disgusting, your period/blood is supposed to come out of your body and tampons are just not letting you cleanse yourself.

  2. Tampons are better cuz pads just make your cooch stink, and whenever you wake up, you have blood all over your butt. And it feels so messy and unclean. So I switched to tampon.

    USE TAMPONS!

  3. Well, I use both but I prefer to use pads when I can. Tampons are a lot cleaner but I always have that worry that I'll leave it in too long and get TSS. I use tampons more when the flow is heavy when I'm up at college or out doing something social.

  4. Well, that is a personal choice.

Pads do let you flow naturally but can be uncomfortable to wear. But the risk in using a pad is none.

Tampons are more comfortable( in my opinion) but they do have risk associated with them and you must be responsible enough to take very good care of yourself to minimize this risk. Like making sure to change them at the suggested intervals and to use the proper absorbency for your flow from change to change of the tampon to minimize this risk of Toxic Shock Syndrome.

I will attach a website to this so that you can read about Toxic Shock Syndrome

  5. someone said that tampons cause cancer...

    thats not true.

    anyways!

it all depends on your personal preference.

    you should try out both.

i like to use tampons because pads can get messy, smelly, sticky, and overall - uncomfortable and unpleasant.

also, you cannot wear pads when swimming and they can sometimes be noticeable if you're wearing shorts, like soffee shorts.

they also can feel bulgy in your pants!

tampons are comfortable and aren't messy.

the only setback i can think of for tampons is that you have to be sure to not keep them in for longer than 8 hours, or you could be at risk for TSS (toxic shock syndrome.) it can be fatal, so be careful!

    hope i was helpful!

  6. Tampons.

Pads are like diapers, and can really stink, even with a little flow on it.

Tampons are a must have for swimming (unless you have a diva cup) and are great for physical activity.

  7. pads are way better than tampons... your period is supposed to come out of your body and the tampon only keeps it in.. also your putting into your body something that it doesnt recognizes and it can leave behind like pieces (of what its made of) and i hear a doctor say that may cause cancer (but i am no so sure about that but i wouldnt risk it)

  8. I like to switch it around! At school I wear a tampon just so in gym class and stuff and also if you wear a pad all day it feels like a diaper sometimes, ick. When I'm at home though, I wear pads all the time. Sometimes I wear a tampon at school with a small pad too so it won't leak. When you're feeling lazy, wear a pad. When you're going out, wear a tampon. You're choice! Also, wear a pad at night, you need to give your body a rest sometimes with tampons. :0)

  9. my first couple of days I need to use both because of how heavy it is.  after that I use tampons, much cleaner and no smell.

  10. Well its completely up to you.

its all about what you feel comfortable with

so first i would try pads because they are easier

but then when you are confident enough and you feel ready

try a tampon and whichever one you feel more comfortable with

    use that one most.

  11. what ever you feel comfortable in

some people have trouble inserting a tampon in...others do it easily but if you get used to it than i guess a tampon is better

  12. I try to use both. I try not to use tampons if at all possible. Tampons have alot of side effects. I only use them if I am going swimming or if I know I am not going to be around a bathroom for a while. You can actually get sick from tampons. Look up Toxic Shock Syndrome(TSS).

  13. I personally like tampons way better. They make you feel cleaner and are not as messy.

    Hope this Helps!

  14. i like tampons but if it is your first time getting your period use pad for the first two or three times the switch to tampons if you feel comfortable enough but remember to use slender or light tampons the first time cz they are smaller
