your feet are closer to the back... so the long side is up front.  

think of a surfers stance on a surfboard.  you want to keep your weight back.

u gotta be more specific with what kinda stick yor ridin. if the binding bolts is more backset, then the back will be the side the bindings is closist to. also, look at the design on the top sheet and the base and it should be common sense. anyways, if you have a nice stick, look it up online, itl tell you on the company's website

alright i can tell u r a beginner well in snowbaording there are stances u can ride goofy or regular it doesnt really matter what way u ride its just how u feel comfortable

You need a lesson before you ride it!  They will show you how to strap it on safely.
