not many, the tribes in south america typically  use anywhere from 50 to 200 grams of salvia to prepare mixtures.  If you were planning on smoking it you need quite a bit, most people  think that just smoking the dry leaves produces a minimal effect and they therefore use large quantities in order to obtain higher concentration for their enjoyment
