  1. to pass my junior&senior moves in the field

  2. My biggest goal skating wise for 2008 is to be able to get back on the ice and maybe land a few more jumps- either singles or doubles- depending on what I'm up to. If possible I'd also like to begin competing again, and hopefully be able to get my RSD/CRPS into remission.

  3. Well, first off, I am 14, will be 15 in February, and my resolutions are to begin taking classes in March, and then hopfully, be in some competitions by next fall, if I practice all summer. I have never skated before, but I am really pasionate about learning, and hopefully be in some competitions. That's about it.

  4. My 2008 resolution for figure skating is to try to land my axel. That would be so amazing!! I am almost there and to land it would be so cool! Also to get all of my jumps solid and not get them one week and then lose them the next!!!

  5. I wish to master at least one single jump.

    Improve on balance and strides.

    Learn to stop efficiently

  6. I have a lot!  I want to finally perfect my axel, get my doubles consistent, increase the speed of my spins, take my adult silver and gold moves, finally pass my stupid pre-juvenile moves (my coach says I should have been passed the last time I took them) and take juvenile...... a lot of stuff that I should have done a LOOONG time ago.  I would also like to start dance lessons and get a few of those tests under my belt.  I want to do Adult Nationals this year, but we'll see how money and getting time off of work goes.  Happy New Year (early)!

  7. Well land my loop, and nail my sit spin!!!

    Happy New Year!!! :]

  8. My skating resolution this year is to start figure skating lessons. I'd like to start in January, and if I can't, then in March. I'll be 15 in January, so every session I miss gives me less time to learn and compete. If this resolution can't happen, then I would at least like to just get out on the ice and skate more often. With my friends or alone. I may look stupid when I'm out there by myself, but I don't care, I love to skate.

  9. To get at least two or three triples.

  10. Lets see, compete in intermediate, start my double axel, get all of my jumps consistent, lots of things!

    happy new year!

  11. To focus more on ice. Not to be affraid to try harder jumps like taking of in loop! to get my loop down. Do some competitons and enjoy it. And to get new skates, lol.

    Happy new year everyone.

  12. to start taking lessons again! i really want to improve!

  13. My 2008 New Year's Resolutions for skating are probably:

~ Getting a lot better at my one foot spin so I can stop traveling and end them more gracefully. I struggle with these a lot and I want them to be great by next year.

~ Learn and get better at a harder jump.

~ Perform a solo in a performance or competion

    ~Improve overall

I have a lot of goals this year, I'm hoping I'll be able to reach them! Happy New Years! :)

  14. My skating new years resolution is to make skating my main priority, many times this year i have canceled lessons and ice time because of my friends. My friends are very important to me, but skating is basically my life, haha more like a lifestyle.

  15. My goals for 2008 are to land my axel, get a nice camel spin, and be in my first ever competition!
