The right o express pride should be well observed and respected as long as the process of expressing pride is not accomplished at expense of others' spiritual, physical loss through manipulating someone's ignorance, anxiety, and fear with the tactics of various forms of power, political, administrative, or occupational and the disguise of various forms of deception under hidden agenda. If this principle of act is violated, the acts of uneasiness, resentment, chaos, even violence ensue. Furthermore, it's important to realize: Who you are is the accumulation of who you have been, that is, you are the accumulation of your own past, , including genetic inheritance, upbringing in family, education, living and experience.  Most importantly, we need to realize: The path of life has never changed for all, regardless of race, gender, religion, education, and occupation; every day and every moment, we all constantly, directly in directly, analyze, dissect, and summarize the activities in dealing with searching, improving, and perfecting the matters of foods and s*x life.
