Just a thought, but with the Olympics going on now, and Georgia and Russia fighting, could it be bad for the Olympics?

Seeing Georgia in our ally, China is Russia's ally, and our athletes over there. If America gets involved with the 'war'. Russia could get China in there with us, but at the same time have some really stupid thoughts, "Hey, since we are with Russia and they are fighting Georgia, which is with USA, lets kill their athletes to p**s them off."

Or something stupid like that. Knowing Bush he probably will get involved. A new World War amidst?

  1. Very doubtful. This scuttle will be over shortly.

  2. No one knows how far the war in South Ossetia will go on for, or what the stakes will be.

The U.S is in no position to rush into Georgia to square off against Russia. If Russia conquers South Ossetia then pushes on into Georgia to completely overrun it, that's when you'll see an international reaction that amounts to more than words.

  3. Dude that would totaly suck if there is a new war that the US gets involved in.  We have our hands full and we don't have really strong allies yet.

  4. If we consider Georgia an ally , we should get involved

  5. I think it is bad for the Olympics and the world.

The sad part is... all you hear about on the news is about how Edwards slept with another woman.

With all of the wars going on and energy problems, people loosing homes and jobs leaving America, you would think our American news could cover something besides a man coming clean for cheating on his wife.
