  1. josh smith doesn't even want to play for his coach anymore, he will probably gonna get traded. the hawks signed him because they didn't want to give him away without getting any players in return, sign and trade. hawks will not make the playoffs when the bucks, nets, bulls and heat are rising with their new players

  2. No. With out Josh Childress they have no chance! Just kidding lol :).

  3. I can see 7th or 6th seed, maybe 5th if Mike Bibby and Joe Johnson really step up their game. Being a hawks fan, im pretty happy that Josh is coming back. But lets face it, Josh cant carry the hawks by himself.

  4. maybe they have a young and a talented core like Minnesota and Portland like Marvin Williams, Mike Bibby, josh Smith, Joe johnson, and al horford. they gonna be better next season. i see the heat 7 seeded and hawks 8th seeded again.

  5. In the east, you certainly can't count them out. They have a few things going for them though.

Their fast-paced offense is too quick for many of the not so fast guards of the eastern conference. Bibby, Smith, and Johnson are great on the fast break. That was the main reasons they almost eliminated the Celtics.

Al Horford is developing into one of basketball's best post defenders. Smith is already an amazing defender. If Speedy Claxton is healthy this year, he will be able to defend many guards to stop the tempo that many teams attempt to create against the Hawks. If he's healthy, the Hawks could be a great defensive team.

They have pretty high potential. With a fast-paced offense and a defense that could be great at keeping the tempo they want, you can't count them out. They're not an elite team, but probably a 6th seed at best.

  6. The east is very weak ,so I think they can!!

  7. I don't think so. Many teams in the east have improved like the Bucks, Bulls, Heat, 76ers and Raptors making it harder for them. The hawks have not made any improvements this offseason and they lost a key bench player in Childress.

  8. Yes.
