With Manny in the line up, what to do with Andruw?

Any outfeilder can play any position, but is Jones really playing well. Look at the average. Unless your a better team with him in the lineup take him out. He is going to ride the bench

i think andruw will probably end up as a defensive replacement for manny late in close games and they would then move kemp to left field...certainly he has done nothing with the bat this year, so i wouldn't expect him to get too many more ab's

Depends on whether he's learned anything from not taking his career seriously.  He's still young enough (31) to contribute solidly if he gets his act together.  If that doesn't seem likely, release him or give him away.

If saving the money is critical, cause him to fail a drug test and void his contract.

Andrew Jones deserves to start more than Manny while he may have a slumping year at least he doesn't cause problems and at least he can field his position well Manny literally the only thing he can do is hit and last time I checked it takes more than that to win ball games. Andrew Jones is also very fast Manny runs the 40 yard dash in 5.7 seconds and runs to first in 5.1 seconds not to mention that he doesnt hustle on anything. Manny deserves to be on the bench in the minors.

Maybe try to put him on waivers.

Have him work in the office. Answer phones, do some filing, maybe work the ticket booth.

Might as well get something out of him - he certainly can't give you anything on the field, maybe he can contribute off of it.

Bench him, no one will take that contract, but if your in a pennant race with Arizona, you need the best hitters out there, I'd leave Kemp, Ramirez, and Ethier out there most of the time. Pierre will probably get some ample time out there also, I see Jones being the odd man out with maybe 120 at bats.

I think the Dodgers are just renting Manny for now, they didn't give up a whole lot to get him, so it's not as bad of a blow.  

Pinch hitting and maybe a defensive sub will be Jones' role for now.

As bad as an offensive season as Jones is having, he's still a gold glove caliber player, and Manny is one of, if not the, worst fielders in the Major Leagues. He's no longer playing in Fenway, which has an extremely small left field, which is good for him since he's slow and can't cover much ground. Andruw can't improve his stats if he doesn't play, so I would switch them out every few games or so, and if Jones comes around, start him.
