  1. NO

  2. i dnt think they r the favorite but im pickin them out of the west.

  3. yes they will have a good elposive bench and a good starting lineup and a young team

  4. yes i think it will paoesy is one of the most under rated player in the leage (i wish miami still had them)

    he is a good shooter when needed and a awesome defender and rebounder

    heat are going to be the champions in 08-09 season!!

    wade=mvp and finals mvp

    mike beasley=rookie of the year

    marion=most improved player

    mourning=defense player of the year

  5. prolly not bud.chris paul is over rated

  6. I think they will get to the WCF and they could win against any team. James Posey is a good player and he can D up players like Kobe or Manu.

  7. Depending on how well Bynum can bounce back from injury and based on the fact that the Hornets were merely a game away from the Lakers in the West for first place, I'd say so.

    We all know James Posey is proven with two championship rings, he gave the Celtics three-point shooting when they needed it most, not to mention played great D, something the Celtics are obviously know for.

    He'll give the Hornets just that and as a veteran on a young team, it will give them more experience. We all saw how they allowed San Antonio to take Games 6 & 7 in the West Semis.

    He'll really play a bigger role then we all might think come playoff time.

    It definitely improves the team, but I think even more so, it takes away from the Celtics chances of repeating in more ways then one.

    I can't see them below the # 3 seed, but I think its hard to pick them over the Lakers if Bynum can continue to play well back from injury, along Pau Gasol. If the Lakers trade Odom, who knows.

  8. I don't think so!!!!!!

  9. no. not with la getting andrew bynum back next year. and possible adding  ron artest. that being said the hornets still will be up there as one of the favorites just not THE favorite

  10. I don't think immediately they would be a favorite. James Posey is mainly a role player, and I don't think he'll make that much noise in the west. I think the Clippers will definitely shake up the west with the key additions of Baron Davis and Marcus Camby.

  11. NO!!

  12. maybe behind the celtics

  13. No, with Bynum back next year, the Lakers will be expected to take the West and win the championship.

  14. i dont know about favorites but they will have a better bench and higher chanses plus more clutch 3 pointers....

  15. I don't think it makes them the favorites. To me, the Lakers still hold that crown. But I believe it keeps the Hornets in the #2 spot with the clutch shots, defensive intensity and overall confidence Posey will add.

  16. pshshshshshshshhh NO the hornets will be number one but not get to the finals once again
