With Rhapsody purchasing Yahoo! LAUNCHcast, what does that mean for members who use the free features only?

Also, will Jukebox still function, or will I need to play my station via a different medium?

  1. I am also curious.  I don't believe you are accurate  that Rhapsody has purchased Y! Launchcast (I think you meant Y! Music).   It's more like Y! is dumping their Music Unlimited and To Go subscribers over to Rhapsody.  Yes, Y! Music Unlimited will eventually go bye, bye.  But it is unclear to me if Yahoo! will retire the Yahoo! Music Jukebox software.  I think Launchcast Radio and Video will still exist.  A thorn in Y! side is providing a Launchcast Radio that works under all the Major browsers.  Rhapsody software fits the criteria and Foxy Tunes makes it easier to access all the music players. So again I am in a quandry about what Y! Launchcast radio will look like in the future.
