With Stegalls td record put to bed....?

Question

Will he catch the great Allen Pitts for the yardage record now? It seems its a no brainer that he will but 1200 yards in 13 games is still a lot for any receiver. I hope he gets that record too :-)

Stegall is an exceptional reciever and he will probably try his best to put that record away as well... i wish him all the best

It will be close and he's probably gonna have to get it done this year because I think he might retire.

No sweat.  In the CFL 1200 yards is nothing especially when the team is playiong well which Bombers are.

He needs to average approximately 70 yds a game for the rest of the season.  Seeing as how he is the leading receiver in the CFL now, I would think it's a lock providing he doesn't get injured

I think it's possible, but not incredibly likely.  If he doesn't get it by the end of the season, I doubt he'll come back to take another crack at it next year.  Seeing how Armstrong and Edwards have both caught more passes than Stegall this year, he'd need a couple more of those 100-yard TD catches to have a decent shot. ;)
