I know hes older and getting over an injury. But hes still more impressive than any of the other Q.B.'s they got.

  1. I don't think they will sign Daunte because why would you replace an injured QB with an injury prone QB. I think a trade will be worked out with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They currently have 5 QB's. Brian Griese, Josh Johnson, Jeff Garcia, Luke McCown, and Chris Simms. So the Bucs have all of the usual suspects for temporary QB's. I think they will probably trade for either Chris Simms or Brian Griese.

  2. yes!

  3. He sprained an MCL and would you stop being so quick to judge you jerk..one season and an 8-4 record is good coming from a Div-AA QB. He'll be back playing for week one and he didn't "blow" his knee..where did you get this information? He will be better than alot of other people think this year and you'll be looking at him like he's a great player because of the bandwagon fan you are..I guarantee he will lead the Vikings to the playoffs

  4. Get your facts straight tard.  T-Jax only has a sprained MCL and is back for the regular season!

  5. Whatever the deal is with Jackson they need a QB, why else would they try to get Favre.

  6. I believe Tarvaris Jackson is playing. Oh, but if this was an actual question, i would still say no. No team in the NFL wants an injured quarterback. I dont see Daunte Culpepper being a solution to any teams quarterback problems.

  7. They should get Ryan Leif out of retirement...

  8. No, Daunte Culpepper burnt his bridges in Minnesota and it wasn't a pretty split. He will never be a Viking again.

  9. First of all, he didnt blow out his knee; its 'just' a bruise.

Culpuker is a dilemna;  why has no one even called him this season?  Lots of teams need a QB.   I'm guessing 'pepp is either axing for way too much dough or is totally washed up.

  10. Well, I was thinking about this the other day and I thought it would be an interesting move.  But I have to say no, because Culpepper made it clear that he wanted out of Minnesota after Randy left.  So far since Minnesota has career his gone down hill.  I don't think either party wants to re-join because for one, Daunte does not want to go crawling back to an organization that he left on his own will.  He does not want to make it seem like his career was not worth a dime by going back.  Secondly Minnesota wants to move on.  They let him go for a reason, so they could secure a future QB in Jackson, but now the he is down they don't have much else to do.  The only option I see is to attempt a trade or continue to prowl the free agent market.  If they can't find a good replacement then their season may be in jeopardy.

  11. I never thought much of Jackson. I am sorry he got hurt. Culpepper is not the answer. He is just not that good. Time for him to go back to Ocala.

  12. No way!! First of all Tavaris only has a sprained MCL so he'll be back leading the Vikings. Second Minnesota doesn't want Culpepper. The only reason Culpepper was any good was because he had Moss and Carter. With Moss all you had to do was chuck it up there and Moss would run get it. With Carter all you had to do was get it close and he would snatch it out of the air. We all saw what happened to Culpepper when he lost those guys. He cant read defenses and then go through the progression of wr's. Third all these people that are saying Culpepper doesn'twant to come back to Minnesota are full of c**p!! What the h**l is he doing now? Sitting on his couch eating Cheetoos! He wants a job and to get paid! He would jump at the chance to be an NFL quarterback again! Even if its in Chicago!

  13. what there going to do is trade for john beck or mccown from the miami dolphins

  14. They have an all star team an all they need is a quarter back. Daunte Culpepper looked good for the Radiers so his a good pickup.
