In less than a month will be the two year anniversary of Earl Woods death. In my expereince, males seem to take two years for the death of someone to whom they were close to finally feel the full impact of it. A large percentage of older men, who have lost their wives, survive just two years.

  1. No. He still came in 2nd today. Every

person usually will have a time when their

game is "off".  He has a wife and baby

now to take attention off the death of his

beloved father. He will always want his

father to be proud of the sport his father

    taught him.

  2. Hardly. He's has the greatest winning streak of his career since his dad's death.

In 2007 he earned $122M. To put that in perspective: If Tiger worked 8 hours a day, 6 days a week for 11 months, his rate of pay would have been $45,000.00 an HOUR.

  3. I think Tiger derives inspiration from his father, and his father's memory.  He is in the fortunate position of being able to try to "win onr" for his Dad and then be able to do it.

Tiger has a wife and daughter now.  They cannot replace his father, but they no doubt provide a new source of inspiration.

  4. i think you should be a reporter for ESPN because you seem to be skilled at making up ridiculous stories that no one cares about with no evidence

  5. Every other golfer would LOVE to have the "slump" Tiger has been in during this time. How quickly we forget how Tiger dominated to start this year. Just because he didn't top the board for one major, I don't think it is logical to conclude that he's in a funk because of grief and depression.

EDIT: He finished second in the Master's with a knee problem....

  6. probably the most ridiculous thing I have read this morning
