Question:

With Tim Russert's death, are there any respectable journalists left in the world?

We've lost two very respectable journalists in the last two years: Tim Russert and Ed Bradley.

Both of these stand out to me as being principled men in a profession that most Americans have very little faith in.

The overwhelming majority of journalists nowadays seem to be very dishonest, sleazy, and people of low morality.

  1. There weren't any respectable journalists before Russert's death and there isn't any after Russert's death. They aren't journalists, they are liberal bias commentators.

  2. Were there any to begin with?

Kidding.  Although "respectable" is a relative term in this society . . .

  3. Robert Fisk writes in 'The Independent' in the UK.

Just put his name in Google to find what the standards of good  journalism are.

He is certainly up there with the best - and he's alive and writing today.

  4. Lou Dobbs seems to be honest.Check him out.

  5. Yes, have you ever seen naked news?

  6. Yes, but Walter Cronkite's aging.  Once he's gone, so is integrity.
