With Trend Micro PC-cillin security for my computer, is it possible to make it scan certain files?

I want it to scan 1 file, not every single one.

With most antivirus products you can open up Windows Explorer, navigate to the file you want to check, right click on the filename and select "Scan with [antivirus product name]".  This will cause the antivirus program to scan that file only.
