With a $ 7000 investment, and B.Sc in Computers, and NO experience, can my brother start a business in Hyd ?

Which business will be better ? Suggest some options please.

Of course he can......the investment is no big a deal.....I've seen n read about people who have started with nothing and ended up with billions....Ur broz lucky maan.....$7000 or 315000Rs is gr8....he can as well start an third party collection centre for Indian and foreign Companies loo kin at his exp with comps and there are a million other avenues for him there.....lucky still he ain't in the northeast.....

He can start a business anywhere.  The important question, "Is he wise for doing so?"  That I can't answer without knowing a few things about your brother like his business savvy, his people skills, his language skills, his determination, his marketting plan, his manufacturing set-up, his distribution plan, and his plan B's  -- for instant success, delayed success, delayed failure, and instant failure -- all of which plans should exist before the idea is even contemplated.  In short, if you're telling me everything you two know, I would advice against it.  If all of my questions have good answers and if you can get through the legal and front-cost hurdles with $7K then more power to you.

Well there are several ways,

He can start an Institute ( simple & very common)

He can start a Projct consultancy service

He may try for contracts for Data conversion, Med Trans, etc, he may even get contract from Govt / Pvt firms, but it all dpendds upon his individual taste & effor, dedication mainly.

First understand u and ur brother in India $ is not the currency, Rupees is the currency. When u convert it is not a reasonable sum to start any business. When u still talk in terms of Dollar, U can hardly p**s that amount in hyderabad.
