I wish we could throw them all out and start over. I did not used to but I now support term limits, if they stay in very long they all become corrupt.

Everybody hates Congress except when it comes times to vote for their own person.  Also, I don't think things would necessarily change for the better with 100% rookies in there. Part of the frustration of people is because they don't understand they way the government works and that the system was actually designed to be difficult(checks and balances) as far as getting things done because the framers wanted a more deliberative process than the system they had in England.

Ken----you are right on target here----we all need to get involved and check the voting records of our own representatives and see if they are doing their part in doing the correct things to make our country strong----I frequently email and call or fax my senators and house rep with issues that concern us------we need to watch them closely----bug the snot out of them when we want them to move on an issue-----and remember when we go to the polls.

All of the rascals should be ousted! No Congressperson should be re-elected; governors, mayors, all of them should be turned out.

I think we expect too much of them.    They promise anything to get elected, and, that's what we expect!

Who said voters aren't fools, New York elected a carpetbagger to the Senate.  

Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid lead a Senate and House to the very poor record you write about.  Last time I saw it it was an 18% approval or 78% disapproval record.  

Remember all of the promises they made for the first 100 days in office?

Yes, the American people expected allot from them but with filibusters and veto they cannot get much done. Some fading generation Democrats keep voting with the Republicans so there is still work to do.
