I purchased a one-way ticket and my first stop in Europe is Copenhagen, will customs let me through?

  1. i guess it all depends on which natioan you are a citizen of and where you are coming from

  2. Of course they will allow you entry.

Although you may have to demonstrate that you have arranged onward travel out of the Denmark and that you have the funds needed to support yourself while you are there.

Also, if you are travelling by land there are no border formalities once you have been granted entry to the EU.

  3. No the U.K. is a nation in Europe like all the other nations and if you are not a citizen of the European UNION u cannot travel around Europe on a U.K. visa..  Only citizens of the European Union including the U.K. can travel around the E.U with no visas. Like i live in Wales and without applying for anything i could just go and live in Germany and i dont even have to apply for a visa but its differnt for outsiders.

  4. I'm not entirely sure about Copenhagen but I certainly travelled through Europe (Germany, Holland, Belgium) on a New Zealand passport with no trouble.  I don't think you need a visa provided you're not working, the EU will let NZ citizens (and therefore, probably Australian citizens!) in to travel without a separate visa.  I know you used to need a visa for France but I think that's changed.
